In Defense of the Damned- a specialty course focused solely on applying the TLC Method to criminal defense cases.  
Take your level of defending those who seem to be “damned” by society and the justice system to a higher level of advocacy in trial. The TLC Method for Cross Examination trains trial lawyers to apply the psychodramatic methods that improve listening skills and therefore the ability to understand and empathize with everyone in the courtroom, including opposing witnesses.

This scholarship reflects TLC’s commitment to providing civil rights lawyers training and support to empower them in the battles of this unique and profoundly important area of trial practice. Applicants must have already applied for the 3-week Trial Lawyers College (deadline May 31st) and submit their application and supporting materials for the Rodney King Civil Rights Scholarship by June 15, 2026.

This webinar will focus on the basics of bringing an action for violation of constitutional rights by law enforcement and related government officials, pursuant to 42 U.S.C. Special TLC 1-hour Webinar (lecture-format) by Andy Delaney. Daubert is not just a shield; it is a sword. TLC-eligible plaintiff and criminal defense lawyers do not have to sit back and wait for the usual defense or prosecution Daubert strike. The same gatekeeping rules that have been used for years to attack our experts apply with equal force to theirs. By mastering Daubert and its progeny (often codified in Rule 702), you can flip the script: expose result‑driven opinions, analytical gaps, junk methodologies, and experts wandering outside their lane, then move to exclude or tightly limit that testimony before a jury ever hears it. When the motion lands, the tables turn—suddenly the hospital has no causation expert, or the state’s star forensic witness is sidelined or boxed into a tiny corner.
