Sentencing Advocacy in Capital and Non-Capital Cases Webinar
04/13/2026

Sentencing Advocacy in Capital and Non-Capital Cases. The reality of criminal defense is that most of our clients will find themselves in a sentencing proceeding. It is incumbent on us as criminal defense attorneys to begin the preparation for that moment from the beginning of the case. Sentencing advocacy is about story. It’s about finding that narrative that permits a judge or a jury to truly see your client and respond with more empathy and compassion than disgust and loathing. Mitigation, in any case, begins with the advocate and should be presented through a compelling story.

Daubert is not Just a Shield - Webinar with Andy Delaney
09/03/2026 - 09/03/2026

Special TLC 1-hour Webinar (lecture-format) by Andy Delaney. Daubert is not just a shield; it is a sword. TLC-eligible plaintiff and criminal defense lawyers do not have to sit back and wait for the usual defense or prosecution Daubert strike. The same gatekeeping rules that have been used for years to attack our experts apply with equal force to theirs. By mastering Daubert and its progeny (often codified in Rule 702), you can flip the script: expose result‑driven opinions, analytical gaps, junk methodologies, and experts wandering outside their lane, then move to exclude or tightly limit that testimony before a jury ever hears it. When the motion lands, the tables turn—suddenly the hospital has no causation expert, or the state’s star forensic witness is sidelined or boxed into a tiny corner. This webinar will focus on how TLC‑style story, cross, and emotional truth combine with Daubert’s technical framework to take away the other side’s “science” and put you in the strongest possible trial position.
